MoclobemideFor the treatment of depression. Antidepressant - reversible inhibitor of MAO type A. Adults: Initially, 300 mg/day after meals in 2 divided doses and increased gradually to a maximum of 600 mg/day, if needed. The initial daily dose of 300 mg should not be increased until after the first week of therapy. Severe hepatic disease or patients receiving drugs which inhibit hepatic microsomal enzymes (e.g., Cimetidine): Reduce daily dose of Manerix to one/third or one/half of the standard dose.
